Supervised Independent Living Programs

This agency’s Supervised Independent Living Program offers a comprehensive multi-
disciplinary approach to service for between the ages of 18-21 years of age who
are wards of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

These youth are assisted to establish and maintain “real world” life skills necessary
to maximize their ability to stabilize themselves in the communities where they
reside in their individual apartments. Concurrently they are assisted with accessing
appropriate educational, vocational, medical, therapeutic, social and employment
resources to enhance their ability to become self-sufficient/self-sustaining young
adults.

The program serves males and females as well as pregnant/parenting and non-
pregnant/parenting youth.
