Beatrice Caffrey Youth Service (BCYS) is a Private Not-for-Profit Agency, Licensed
by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and Accredited by The
Council on Accreditation.

BCYS is currently accepting applications for qualified, caring individuals to join us in
providing quality services to our clients in the following areas:

TLP RESIDENTIAL ADVISOR

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates are required to be at least 23 years of age with at
least a High School Diploma, 2 years of experience is desired. Candidates are
required to have a vehicle with an excellent driving record, valid driver’s license and
car insurance. Candidates must possess the ability to be patient, show initiative,
good judgment, work independently as well as in a team environment, excellent
communication skills and relationship building with residents between the ages of 17
to 21. Candidates must successfully pass a background check that includes a criminal
check.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide life skills training to residents;
health, budgeting, meal preparation, hygiene, career planning, academic achievement,
communication and healthy relationships. Plan and participate in recreational activities
with residents. Responsible for ensuring all residents are safe and adhering to the
rules and regulations of the program. Able to make critical decisions regarding
resident’s behavior and activities. Work closely with the resident’s case manager to
ensure the residents are meeting their goals outlined in their service plan.
