Dear Friends of Beatrice Caffrey,
This is the time of year when we ask you to extend a hand and donate to the agency. It is
with some trepidation that I broach the subject this year. Our economy is strained and
collectively we are feeling the pinch. We hear reports almost daily, of just how dire
things are currently. However, throughout this upheaval, we have been reminded to stay
the course and continue to plan optimistically for the future. Economist and financial
advisors are urging us not to panic, but to be deliberate in our financial actions.
It is from that vein that I ask you to examine your situation, consider carefully how you
might be able to contribute and do so with the same caring spirit that has guided you to
lend us your support in the past.
We are jointly affected by what happens to our youth; likewise we are jointly concerned
they are given opportunities for success. Beatrice Caffrey Youth Service counts on you to
make good things happen for the families we serve; even a little can make a big impact.
Please decide to remain optimistic about our financial future, dedicated to making a
